Depressing views.

Well priced hotel with attentive employees from the doormen to the manager Lovely romantic and nicely furnished room with a very big shower. Absolutely perfect location, close to Royal Street, thoroughly enjoyed this place. Easy check in and easy check out.

Everything was lovely and met my requirements. I greatly enjoyed that the hotel was big size, nicely decorated with an attentive service. The staff was extremely accommodating, always with a smile on face. The breakfast was above average and free for Platinums, amazing food.

Well-appointed room with 2 queen beds and free breakfast. A huge variety of supplies in the room: central heating, a private safe, and a flat-screen TV. Private parking on-site provided. Everything really good. Unbeatable location, close to Louis Armstrong. Set in a such beautiful area very close to the mighty Mississippi and the cable car and Canal Street on the French Quarter side.

Our room was beautifully maintained and lovely romantic, it had down pillows. The breakfast was above average and consisted of good meals. The most important was the staff - attentive and highly courteous people. The hotel's location was amazing, close to Central Business District, and restaurants, bars, museums.

Stayed for 3 days and didn't want to say goodbye, I will be back. Greatly enjoyed the hotel, it is nicely decorated and fairly clean, has good and fab location next to everything. The room was romantic, the decor was comfortable. The breakfast was above average and for Platinums; the staff was super-friendly.

The location of the hotel is perfect for exploring the city, with a quick walk into all the Bourbon Street action. Being on Canal, a block away from Bourbon Street, allows easy access to the vibrant nightlife. The rooms are nicely furnished and clean, and the bathrooms are tastefully decorated with small chandeliers. The staff is incredibly helpful and friendly, making the check-in process a breeze. The breakfast in the hotel restaurant is excellent, with a variety of options to choose from.

There were ongoing repairs in the lobby area, which caused some inconvenience during the stay.

Loud music played in the lobby every evening. You will have to retreat to your room if you want to chat with your friends or relax. Not what you would expect for a hotel of this price/category.

Location, easy walk to and around French Quarter. Friendly, helpful staff.

Vastly overpriced restaurant. Had to go out for every meal. Would have been nice to stay in once in a while but not at those prices. Odd that they would prefer an empty restaurant than cut meal prices in half and fill the place. The decor of the place is weird. There's no comfortable lobby, just an overpriced bar. And the lighting throughout the place is too dark.

Above average breakfast, thanks a lot. The location is favourable, at a short distance from an Esplanade avenue. It's in the truly beautiful area very close to other sightseeing spots which is another bonus.

The themed hotel had TVs in the elevator playing The Saint. The staff was friendly and attentive with a small staff during our stay. The shower changed colors to indicate the temperature. The bed was comfortable, providing a restful sleep. Quiet interior rooms allowed for a peaceful stay.

Clean rooms, clean linens, fairly empty hotel. Talkative, friendly staff.

The corridor blue lights were dismal. I assume the intent was meant to be clubby, or sexy, but really it was just disorienting and annoying. Regular light/ sunlight is good! Also, when we asked lobby staff to hail us a cab, someone contacted a personal friend who charged us double [we found out when we reached our destination, 10 minutes away] the going rate. Fortunately we raised the issue upon our return, and fortunately the driver brought back money to the hotel. However - should we as guests need to go through this? Jeez we asked for a cab! No more!
